Acts of Kindness Craft & Activity (Ages 3–6)

Ramadan is not only about fasting, it is also a time for our children to learn about kindness, good manners, and caring for others.

This simple and enjoyable activity was something I recently did with my students aged 3–6, and they absolutely loved it. It encourages children to think about the small acts of kindness they can do during Ramadan while creating their own Ramadan Acts of Kindness booklet.

Through colouring, cutting, sticking, and discussion, the children are gently reminded that Muslims should care for one another and that good deeds should be done for Allah alone, not to be seen or praised by others.

This activity helps children:

• Understand that Ramadan is a time to increase in good deeds

• Learn the importance of kindness to parents and others

• Begin developing good manners and character

• Reflect on simple acts of kindness they can practise at home

• Enjoy a hands-on craft activity that makes the lesson memorable

The resource is designed for young learners, with simple instructions and options suitable for both writers and non-writers.

A lovely little activity to help plant the seeds of good character and sincerity in our children from a young age, in shaa Allah.
